Clinical nutrition is an important part of modern medicine. It is to give proper energy and nutrients according to patients' psychological, physiological, and pathological characteristics to enhance the body's resistance, promote tissue repair, reduce organ burden, correct metabolic abnormalities to prevent and treat diseases, promote health and postpone aging.
As a professional discipline, the Department of Clinical Nutrition was established independently in January 2013 as a medical department under the leadership of the director of operations and is an important part of the comprehensive treatment of the hospital. After 6 years of development, the Department of Clinical Nutrition has one chief physician, one associate chief physician, one senior residents , and one nutrition technicians. It will continue to introduce talents to strengthen the department in the future.
The work of the Department of Clinical Nutrition includes nutrition outpatient, consultation,, missionary, scientific research, teaching, etc.
I. Nutrition clinic work:
After several years of development, the nutrition clinic has formed its own professional characteristics, especially in the treatment of pregnancy nutrition, obesity, hyperlipidemia, hyperglycemia, hypertension, hyperuric acid, gout, fatty liver, cardio-cerebrovascular disease and other diseases.
1、Who needs to see the nutrition clinic: (1) overweight and obese patients; (2) diabetic patients; (3) fatty liver and hyperlipidemia patients; (4) high uric acid and gout patients; (5) patients with cardiac and cerebrovascular diseases; (6) patients with wasting and malnutrition; (7) patients with abnormal liver and kidney functions; (8) pre-and post-operative patients; (9) nutrition during pregnancy; (10) ketogenic diet for patients with malignant glioma and epilepsy (11) Sub-healthy state (poor lifestyle) people, etc.

Completed the national key research and development plan " Individualized nutrition intervention for elderly sleep disorders" and completed the expert consensus on nutrition intervention for elderly patients with sleep disorders;The department also participated in the clinical study on the application of accelerated rehabilitation surgery in the perioperative period of intracranial aneurysms.
V. Teaching work:
Teaching Clinical Nutrition; holding municipal and district-level continuing medical education; conducting training in various clinical departments; conducting training in hospital quality control physicians' meetings, etc.
